Set high on a corner block in a pleasant suburb, this property offers all the comfort and convenience you’re looking for in a holiday home. Perfectly positioned to enjoy peace and quiet yet only minutes from all the amenities that make a holiday special, this house will tick all the boxes.
The central entry will take you through to the generous living space. With a comfortable leather modular sofa, two electric recliners and a wall mounted smart TV, plus access through sliding doors to the patio, this room invites relaxing evenings after a day out on the beach or exploring this terrific locale.
Follow around to the right and the spacious open plan kitchen and dining room is full of natural light with expansive glass on all three sides. The modern kitchen is well-equipped for an extended stay and includes all you’d expect, including a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Nicely sociable, there are 3 stools at the benchtop so cook up a storm while chatting to the family. This living area includes a sofa bed and a corner study nook, as well as a dining suite for 6. A reverse cycle air conditioner and overhead fan will keep you comfortable. A highchair is available for your convenience.
Head out through the glass sliding doors to the alfresco entertaining space, a terrific space for meals with its 6-seater outdoor setting under a full sun-protecting gazebo. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks while the kids play in the secure garden and you fire up the BBQ. This is what holidays are made of!
The bedrooms are all well-appointed and all house Queen beds. The master has a walk-in-wardrobe, air-conditioning and a shower ensuite, and the remaining 3 bedrooms all have built-in robes. Two have overhead fans. There is a family bathroom with a bathtub, shower and vanity and a separate toilet as well as a laundry with washing machine and dryer. All linen is included.
The garden is fully fenced and laid to lawn, perfect for a game of cricket. Please note that pets may be considered for a fee. The garage can take 2 cars and has internal access and further parking on the drive is possible. Bring your boat! This house can cater for so much. With WiFi, video on demand and books provided, we’re struggling to think what else you’ll need!
PLEASE NOTE This listing is available to book for 10 adults. However, our recommendation is that the sofa bed is more suited to children, therefore we don't recommend booking for more than 8 adults.
Local Area
This is an ideal location for a holiday home. Set in a pleasant suburb of Coffs Harbour, close to plenty of green space and walks, far enough back from main roads yet only a short drive to all amenities and a short walk to the bus stop, it’s perfect!
Boambee Beach is a lovely long stretch of white sand, popular with dog walkers, fishers and 4-wheel drive enthusiasts. Located north of the popular coastal village of Sawtell and south of Coffs Harbour’s main Jetty Beach you have your choice of some beautiful beaches to enjoy. Enjoy everything that brings: from swimming, surfing and snorkeling to fishing, stand-up paddle boarding and jet-skiing.
There are a number of coastal walks and cycleways. Make sure to drop in at Muttonbird Island and Boambee Headland lookout with your camera at the ready. Whale and dolphin watching is a local pastime and Dolphin Marine Park is well worth a visit. Coffs Harbour Butterfly House is also a delightful spot to take the kids and the regional Botanic gardens is a lovely outing.
For local eateries, you’re spoilt for choice. Head into Coffs for a multitude of nationality restaurants or down to the harbour for more options. There’s yet another hub of eateries at Coffs Harbour South. You could eat out every meal! Coffs also offers a wide choice of food retail outfits if you prefer to cook at home.
In terms of some retail therapy, there are some nice boutique stores in Coffs Harbour, mainly down Harbour Drive.
Public transport includes buses to the shopping hub and the beach from the main road, just a short walk from the property. The airport is only an 8 minute drive away, also accessible by bus.
With everything within such easy reach it’s a great base to explore this terrific holiday destination. More than just pleasant, you won’t want to leave Pleasant on Patmos!
